About us
Workforce Australia Local Jobs aims to create employment solutions for the the local region by collaborating with employers and local stakeholders.
The initiative focuses on reskilling and upskilling to help people return to work as the economy recovers from COVID-19. A dedicated Local Jobs and Support Officer oversees efforts in the region, which includes a Local Jobs and Skills Taskforce made up of community members experienced in local economic development. They work together to address local labor market needs and fund various projects through a Local Recovery Fund aligned with the Local Jobs Plan.
